However, compared to other types of pumps, high-temperature gear pumps have a very significant feature, which is that all of their components are made of high-temperature resistant materials.

The operating components of the high-temperature gear pump are lubricated by the conveyed medium. Let's take a closer look at what daily maintenance needs to be done for the high-temperature gear pump.

(1) The disassembly, cleaning, lifting, and cooling of the high-temperature gear pump should be strictly operated according to regulations to avoid unnecessary losses

(2) Pay attention to maintaining the stability of the inlet pressure of the booster pump, so that it has a stable volumetric efficiency, which is beneficial for the operation of the pump itself and the stability of downstream spinning quality

(3) For imported negative pressure packing shaft seal pumps, when the back pressure decreases, the packing box pressure should be kept higher than the external atmospheric pressure, and the packing box pressure should be adjusted in a timely manner. Otherwise, the pump will suck in air, causing the casting strip to break, affecting granulation and causing discharge from the granulator

(4) Regularly check the temperature of the heat medium sheath, and ensure that the temperature of the heat medium on the main body and front and rear covers is consistent

(5) Every time the output increases, the output, speed, inlet and outlet pressure, and current values should be recorded, and the data before and after should be compared and carefully analyzed to detect abnormalities as soon as possible and handle them in a timely manner.
