The maintenance of stainless steel marine pumps requires the following 15 points to be done:

1. Check if the stainless steel pump, pipeline, and separation area are loose. Rotate the stainless steel pump by hand to see if it is sensitive.

2. Apply lubricating oil to the bearing body and check that the oil level is at the centerline of the oil gauge. The lubricating oil should be replaced or replenished in a timely manner.

3. Close the gate valve, outlet pressure gauge, and inlet vacuum gauge of the outlet pipeline.

4. Unscrew the water intake bolt of the stainless steel pump body and inject water intake.

5. Click on the motor and check if the direction of rotation is correct.

6. Start the motor and ensure that the stainless steel pump operates normally. Then, open the outlet pressure gauge and inlet vacuum pump to see the appropriate pressure. Gradually open the gate valve and check the load condition of the motor.

7. Within the first month of operation, the stainless steel pump should have its lubricating oil replaced every 100 hours, and then every 500 hours.

8. During the operation of stainless steel pumps, the bearing temperature should not exceed 35C of the ambient temperature, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 80C.

9. When abnormal noise is detected in the stainless steel pump, it should be stopped immediately to investigate the cause.

10. Stainless steel pumps are ineffective for a long time. It is necessary to completely disassemble the pump, wipe off moisture, apply grease to the rotating and separating parts, and store them properly.

11. Try to control the flow and head of the stainless steel water pump within the range indicated on the label as much as possible to ensure that the stainless steel water pump operates at the highest efficiency point and achieves the maximum energy-saving effect.

12. Regularly adjust the packing gland to ensure normal dripping inside the packing chamber.

13. Regularly check the wear condition of the shaft sleeve, and replace it promptly if there is significant wear.

14. When stainless steel water pumps are used in cold winter, after parking, the drain plug at the bottom of the pump body should be unscrewed to drain the medium completely. Avoid frost cracking.

15. When the stainless steel pump stops operating, close the gate valve and pressure gauge, and stop the motor.
